Rooms at La Matera

La Matera

The most popular option is staying at La Matera.

What we call La Matera is one of the three houses that make up the old estate. Most guests stay at La Matera, which has two double rooms with a bathroom, a living-dining area with a stove and grill. La Matera is ideal for four people and can accommodate up to six. Breakfast and meals are paid separately but are affordable. Check-in and check-out times are flexible.

Entrance to El Studio

El Studio

El Studio allows you to stay in the heart of the estate.

El Studio is an apartment located in the east wing of the main house. It consists of a spacious living-study area and a bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and dressing room. The stay includes meals in the main house dining room. This option is most in line with the historical past of El Carmen and will make you feel a bit like living in the era of the struggles to build our nation. Naturally, pets are not allowed in this area.

A house with history

A different kind of rural experience, in a historic estate with its own identity.

“We loved spending two days at Marian’s house. It is a fully immersive experience of living in the countryside. The house dates back to 1850, rustic, very clean, tidy bathroom, and hot water. Everyone was incredibly kind to us. We will definitely come back.”
